Thank you for your reply and for taking the trouble to send me a copy of your passport, I am reassured that you are indeed who you say you are and that you have a valid reason for living in Liverpool.
\nHowever, when I return to the Post Office I know what Mr McDonald will ask me. He will ask “but how do you know he is a diplomat and has anything to do with UK Customs?” So to pre-empt that question please can you send me a copy of your employment security badge.
\nReceipt of the above will put my mind entirely at rest and also stop Mr McDonald from asking any more awkward questions.<\/p>\n
